Success Stories
The following stories are from students who have been taught, mentored, and/or involved in programmes developed by Graeme in the past.

Christopher Mayo
Medical Student, Auckland University
"Dr Miller was instrumental in giving me the opportunities I needed to succeed in high school and beyond."
While attending Hamilton Boys' High School Christopher enjoyed many academic successes including being top of the world in IGCSE Co-ordinated Science (2013), being Dux of Hamilton Boys' High School (2016) and being awarded the Prime Minister's Award for Academic Excellence (NZ Scholarship) in 2016 also. More recently, Christopher has been studying at the University of Auckland where he received two top of paper awards in Semester One 2017 (CHEM110 / BIOSCI107) during the competitive entry year into medicine. This academic success, combined with a good interview, resulted in Christoper's acceptance into Auckland MBChB (Medicine) Class of 2022.

Scott Cameron
Structural Engineer, Holmes Consulting
"Graeme helped me to develop skills that have allowed me to achieve my academic potential."
Scott studied Civil Engineering at Auckland University and specialised in structural engineering, meanwhile tutoring other students in the engineering school. For his academic efforts he won the University of Auckland Senior Scholar Award (top 1% in year group) and graduated with First Class Honours, gaining nine Top in Paper awards. Scott has now gained a graduate position at Holmes Consulting which is an industry leader in structural engineering, where he has worked on projects that include The ASB Tennis Centre, Commercial Bay and Botany Town Centre.

Chayce Glass
House Officer, Northland District Health Board
"Mr Miller challenged me to always keep excelling further and pushing my academic potential to its limits."
Chayce is a junior doctor for Northland District Health Board, working across a range of medical and surgical specialities as a House Officer.
Chayce completed his undergraduate study at the University of Otago, where he enjoyed plenty of success. Notably, he received Dean's Commendations for his academic work in his 2nd and 3rd years of study. Chayce also was the Tumuaki of Te Oranga (Māori Medical Students Aotearoa) and sat on the Board of TeORA (Māori Doctors Association).

Yuuki Ogino
Co-founder and Chief Operations Officer, Unfiltered
"Being in the Advanced Learning Programme really gave me the challenge and competition I needed to excel."
Yuuki is currently Co-Founder and COO for Unfiltered, a business education platform launched in 2015 and now tackling the US market. Unfiltered raised $1.2 million in a seed round in March 2017, and has interviewed the likes of Sir Richard Branson, Tesla Co-Founder Ian Wright and former Prime Minister John Key. Yuuki was also named by Forbes' Magazine as one of the 30 under 30 in education for 2018.
